Julie Altschuler
Julie Altschuler grew up in the northeast with a seven year relocation to Sydney, Australia in the 70s. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. This was immediately followed by a Master of Arts in Expressive Therapy at Lesley College in Cambridge, MA.
While raising two wonderful human beings, her career focused on university administration. During this part of her life, she held a variety of volunteer leadership positions in different organizations. After earning a Certificate in Paralegal Studies, she worked as a case manager for Family Services at the Broward County Court System.
After leaving the world of full-time work, Julie has returned to her love of creating art through fabric and fiber arts. She also serves as Secretary on the board of the Josh’s Hope Foundation and Workshop Chair for the Durham Orange Quilters Guild.
