Splash:  Text can go  right over the header picture.  The header will expand??  Yes.  And there are all kinds of effects - light, dark, black and white, zoom, ... 
What is here now is "Header" - same picture, but all it gets is a single line inside the picture.
Try some effects: Gallery, Section, Button, Categories, Products

This a second text box on this page.  Then try the effects mentioned above. 
Just above is a gallery.  Button was put in beside it and I managed to get the pictures to get bigger and fence the button in. 
Categories wants to sell products.  You have to have products and differentiation inside those into sizes or whatnot.
